GROUNDSWELL 2 & 3 JULY 2025

The Society will have a two day stand at this event for the first time.

This means two members of the committee have to spend time away from their own businesses to help promote the breed for everyone else.  We have two further volunteers to help on each of the days.  Hopefully, however, it will put the EasyCare sheep in front of a different audience.

ANNUAL EASYCARE SHEEP SOCIETY AGM & BREED SOCIETY FARM VISITS

The annual EasyCare Sheep Society AGM and farm visit weekend is hosted kind permission of:

Hayden and Melissa Woolley at their farm, The Albynes, Nordley, Bridgenorth, Shropshire WV16 4SX

As is usual for the Society over the last few years we intend to make a long weekend of the event.

On Friday 20th June we are looking to arrange a visit to a local place of interest, this could be the Ironbridge Gorge/Blists Hill Museum [dogs allowed] or The Acton Scott Heritage Museum [if it is open on Friday 20th]

The AGM will be held on SATURDAY 21ST JUNE 2025 starting at 10am

Hayden will be arranging an itinerary which will be posted as and when it is formalised but it will involve viewing his EasyCare sheep & chats about exporting genetics and methane collection calculating in his shedding sheep.  Hayden is a very progressive sheep farmer so there will be plenty to chat about.

SUNDAY 22ND JUNE 2025 

We will return to Hayden's farm on the Sunday to continue the tours then will finish the day with Sunday lunch [venue to be discussed and booked]
